iContext client Cytiva Software Inc., publishers of advanced recruitment, applicant tracking and onboarding software solutions, today announced that it has been included in Software Magazine's Software 500 ranking, a listing of the world's largest software and services suppliers targeted at medium to large enterprises. iContext congratulates Cytiva on this distinction, an honour that Sonic has received in two previous years.
27-Aug-2009 - Applicant tracking vendor Cytiva / SonicRecruit engages iContext for web services
Cytiva Inc., a leading recruitment software vendor, has engaged iContext Internet for strategic web services. Cytiva's flagship product SonicRecruit, a web-based applicant tracking system, is used by hundreds of companies to power their custom career websites. Cytiva's SonicOnboard, an onboarding portal for new hires, is a complementary product to SonicRecruit that facilitates an efficient and positive experience for new employees. Cytiva also publishes SonicPerform, a performance evaluation software tool, that allows organizations to set SMART goals and automate employee evaluations.
iContext Internet, a Vancouver-area web strategy firm, will be working with Cytiva to improve its overall web marketing and social media communications.

Elinet Communications Canada, a Vancouver-based English and French language institute, has selected local web application developer iContext Internet to develop a web-based service delivery system.
Launch of the new site is expected Fall 2009.
04-Feb-2009 - Vancouver Police Department blog covered by News1130
Vancouver media outlet News1130 carried a story today on the Vancouver Police Department's police blog, "Behind the Blue Line". The blog is written by 13-year veteran officer Cst. Sandra Glendinning. Glendinning says she started the blog "to pull back the curtain on policing".
Strategic services for the blog are provided by iContext Internet, a Vancouver-area web social media firm.

Noble Walters, a West Vancouver producer of 100% cotton dish towels, has selected Vancouver-area web hosting and web site development firm iContext Internet to redevelop their web site. The company manufactures high quality 100% cotton tea towels sewn and silk screened in Canada using water-based inks, featuring the work of prominent Canadian nature artists.
Launch of the redeveloped Noble Walters Creative Tea Towels web site is expected in Spring 2009.
04-Dec-2008 - Vancouver Police Department surpasses 700 Facebook Fans; launches Policing in Vancouver blog
The Vancouver Police Department this week saw its 700th fan join the organization's Facebook page, an outreach web site that allows the department to further its recruitment mission. The VPD also this week launched its first-ever blog, "Behind the Blue Line", written by Cst. Sandra Glendinning, a 13-year vet of the force and a member of the VPD's dog squad. Glendinning hopes to use this blog to share with others what it is like to be a police officer in Vancouver, what it is like to work for the VPD, and how 'the job' has changed her view on many things.

The University of British Columbia Athletics Department has engaged iContext Internet, a Vancouver-area web strategy company, to provide ongoing strategic web services. UBC Athletics' current site can be found at www.gothunderbirds.ca.
iContext will be working with UBC Athletics to improve its web presence via user interface enhancements and new site functionality, search engine optimization, and web marketing and e-mail communications strategy development.

08-Jun-2008 - Vancouver Police Department Facebook page surpasses 200 fans
The Vancouver Police Department's Facebook recruiting page has garnered over 200 fans since the page launched just two months ago. Fans of the page can stay current on VPD recruiting initiatives and events and learn about the officer recruiting process.
The VPD's YouTube channel now has nearly 30 posted videos and over 3,400 Channel Views.
01-Jun-2008 - First-time home buyers' web site HomeBuyer101.ca launches
Lower Mainland Realtor Robie Sim has launched HomeBuyer101.ca, a web site dedicated to assisting first-time home buyers and those re-entering the Fraser Valley real estate market. Developed by iContext Internet, a leading local web consulting firm, and based on the popular WordPress web publishing platform, the site aims to inform visitors about Robie's personalized program that takes new buyers step by step through the home buying process.
01-Apr-2008 - iContext client Vancouver Police Department launches Facebook, YouTube pages
The Vancouver Police Department's Recruiting section today launched both a Facebook and YouTube page, designed to capture potential new recruits within the VPD's target demographics. At a media conference today, Sgt. Howard Chow noted that the 'old ways of communicating aren't working' in reaching a younger audience of potential hires. The Facebook and YouTube pages were developed with the assistance of iContext Internet, a local Internet consultancy.
