Vancouver media outlet News1130 carried a story today on the Vancouver Police Department's police blog, "Behind the Blue Line". The blog is written by 13-year veteran officer Cst. Sandra Glendinning. Glendinning says she started the blog "to pull back the curtain on policing".

At a media conference today, Sgt. Howard Chow noted that the 'old ways of communicating aren't working' in reaching a younger audience of potential hires.
