Providing Photos with Enough ‘Relief Area’
In developing a website, any images you provide us should be high resolution (1600 x 1200 pixels or larger).
If the shots are head and shoulders shots, ideally they would be taken from a consistent position, with consistent lighting etc.
If the shots are in situ (i.e. someone in an office or classroom, or locations or products), or if they’re head and shoulder shots that CAN’T be taken from a consistent position, ideally they’re taken with enough ‘relief area’ around the main subject (person, item) to give cropping options. We can always crop in (e.g. to make head sizes consistent), but we can’t crop out.
